Toilet lid covers provide a way to decorate your toilet and make it match your bathroom. nearly 95% of the toilets sold are white or a shade of white so anything you can do to make them look better and more stylish in your bathroom is a plus. If you own an elongated toilet, make sure you purchase a lid cover that specifically fits elongated toilets.  Most will come with an elastic band that allows for a little stretching, but if you buy a standard toilet seat cover it will usually not fit.

Most lid covers are made of a nylon polyester blend and are machine washable.  This is great because obviously there is a chance they will need cleaned due to being in the bathroom.  Oftentimes you can get matching toilet throw rugs that are on the floor in front of the toilet.

If you sit on your toilet seat lid a lot(maybe while getting ready doing makeup etc…) then a padded toilet lid cover may be best for you.

If you have a heated elongated toilet seat, ensure that you are able to have a toilet lid cover on the heated elongated toilet seats. I would check both with the manufacturer of the toilet seat as well as the lid cover manufacturer.
