Kohler Wellworth Toilet K-3505-0
The Kohler Wellworth toilet (model number K-3505-0) is a newly designed toilet that has water saving features such as the 1.4 gpf. Even with this reduced water usage this toilet has been designed for bulk flushing performance. By installing this toilet the average household will save approximately 2000 gallons of water per year.
The list price for the Wellworth elongated toilet is $490.65, and it comes with a one year limited warranty.
The Wellworth toilet comes in white, almond, black and Mexican sand.
Since this is an elongated toilet you cannot use a standard toilet seat, it would require an elongated toilet seat. A few recommendations that go well with this toilet is the K-4664 Brevia elongated toilet seat or the K-4650 Lustra elongated open front toilet seat.
It is always a good idea when you are replacing your toilet to also replace the water supply line and you will definitely need a brand new wax ring that can be bought at your local Home Depot or Lowes. You should also check if you need to replace the toilet bolts. You will also need a crescent wrench for the install.
Once you attach the supply line flush the toilet a couple times and check for leaks.

The metal chain connecting the tank handle to the cylinder inside the tank gets a kink (the chain links kink together) about once every 50 flushes. This causes the water to either continually run or to cycle on and off due to poor seating of the cylinder. I have to remove the tank cover, reach into the tank and untangle the chain so the cylinder seats correctly. This seems to me to be a design flaw.
Hi Denis,
The possible cause of this is the chain being too long. See if there is extra slack in the chain, you can take a pair of pliers and remove links from the chain. Careful not to take too much out the flapper won’t sit correctly, but taking some of the slack out should fix your kinking problem. Hope this helps!
I have a Kolher Wellworth – 6 litre flush toilet that I am pulling up. Upon reinstalling it I need to replace the wax seal. Is there a particular size seal that I need?
Hi Mike,
99.9% of wax seals are the same standard size. I couldn’t find anything that said Kohler’s was different, which leads me to believe it is the standard size sold at most every home improvement store. Hope this helps!
