TOTO Elongated Toilets – The Best Of Elongated Toilets
TOTO is the high end toilet manufacturer, they have all the cool new toilet products that everyone wants. One of the most popular toilets is the TOTO Neorest One Piece Toilet, this toilet is sleek looking for those high end bathrooms. The tankless design is great for compact spaces and water conservation.
What Are The Benefits Of A Tankless Toilet?
No refilling noise and no waiting for the toilet to refill. Nothing is worse that having to flush again and waiting 5 minutes for the tank to fill up. With the Cyclone Flushing System standard with all TOTO Toilets “reflushing” is not necessary.
What Else Does The Tankless TOTO Toilet Offer?
A front and rear warm water washing, and air dryer. It also features automatic operation, which includes lid opening, closing and toilet flush sensors.
TOTO Aquia CST414M Dual Flush Elongated Toilet
The TOTO Aquia CST414M Dual Flush Elongated Toilet features many of the same great designs as list above, minus the tankless design.
Prices are around $435 or so and this toilet features an elongated skirt design for style, functionality it features a Dual-Max Flushing System and push button flushing which is so much better than handles. The Dual Flush provides a high quality rim wash which keeps stains from forming within the toilet bowl. For those of you looking to conserve water this toilet features a 1.6 GPF or an unheard of 0.9 GPF. You can choose which works best for you.
The 0.9 GPF is great if you have a bathroom where people primarily do #1’s (usually a half bath on a lower level), because the reduced water is a big savings for flushing duty #1.
Overall I would give it a 8/10, some reviewers claimed trouble installing over tiled bathroom floors, requiring you drill a different size(larger) hole and complained the instructions were wrong on this part.
Overall though ratings were positive for the most part.

Toilets account for approx. 30% of water used indoors. By installing a Dual Flush toilet you can save between 40% and 70% of drinking water being flushed down the toilet, depending how old the toilet is you are going to replace.
If you are serious about saving water, want a toilet that really works and is affordable, I highly recommend installing a Dual Flush toilet. Caroma toilets offer a patented dual flush technology consisting of a 0.8 Gal flush for liquid waste and a 1.6 Gal flush for solids. On an average of 5 uses a day (4 liquid/ 1 solid) a Caroma Dual Flush toilet uses an average of 0.96 gallons per flush. The new Sydney Smart uses only 1.28 and 0.8 gpf, that is an average of 0.89 gallons per flush. This is the lowest water consumption of any toilet available in the US. Caroma, an Australian company set the standard by giving the world its first successful two button dual flush system in the nineteen eighties and has since perfected the technology. Also, with a full 3.5? trapway, these toilets virtually never clog. All 47 floor mounted models are on the list of WaterSense labeled HET’s (High Efficiency toilets) http://www.epa.gov/watersense/pp/find_het.htm and qualify for thel toilet rebate programs available in the US. They are available in round, elongated, regular height and ADA compliant ” chair height” in white and biscuit.
